​​Eilish McCann lives in County Wexford, Ireland. 
Her practice includes painting, printmaking and drawing.

Eilish was shortlisted for the Hennessy Portrait Prize in 2017 and highly commended in the 2018 Moth Art Prize. She was awarded second prize Print Award at Impressions12, Galway selected by Norman Ackroyd. 

She presented work in solo shows 'Go Figure' at the Civic Centre, (Cavan 2019) and ‘Somewhere to live’, The Presentation Centre, (Wexford, 2018). She has contributed to many group exhibitions in Ireland and abroad.

Eilish graduated with a BA  in English and German studies from Trinity College Dublin in 1995 following this with a certificate course in Animation Drawing Studies in Ballyfermot College of Further Education, Dublin in 1998.  She gained a diploma in Art and Design with Distinction from GMIT, Galway in 2001.
